Mumbai Rains.
Rains are not exactly a curse
But things often turn for the worse.
Down came the rain
And along with it a flood.
Thanks to the clogged drain
Died each flower and bud.
Washed away was the fence
And with it all the cattle.
Gone was the forest dense,
To survive was a tough battle.
In the sky flew each pigeon and dove
And how much ever one did try,
One had to part with a great love
And helplessly watch them die.
Everyone did pray for help
And soon were pulled out with many a rope.
While the dogs were left to yelp,
Man and cooperation with this did cope.
Cooperation is important ,
This was learnt.
The next day,
a shop was burnt.
This calamity that took place
Taught man that
Cooperation is more important than winning a race.
But still against the BMC he did file a case
Blaming them for his dead cat!
