My poem

This was written for a competition..




Industries pollute the air

And creatures suffer because of us

This is really not fair

We must not create a fuss

We must learn how to adjust.





Due to the global warming

The temperature of the planet does increase.

This problem doesn't seem to cease.

The animals cannot live at ease.

Save the earth, Oh! please.





Smoke causes acid rain

This causes crops to die.

To life we have to say good-bye

Everywhere so much pain.

It makes me want to cry.





Depletion of the ozone

Because of your computer, AC and phone.

This sorrow makes me moan.




Temperatures do rapidly rise,

This causes the melting of ice.

The poles of the earth do melt,

Effects of this are clearly felt.




Illnesses in man are caused,

No medicine can be found

To make the earth happy and sound.

Animals suffer too

Even the birds flying in the sky so blue





If we save the earth,

There will be no dirt

And we will find happiness and mirth.

We must not be so mean,

Our chances to save the earth are lean.

Save the earth before it is too late,

Otherwise ourselves we'll hate.

Go save the earth

Do you little bit

Just don't stare and sit.

Saving the earth must be learnt ,

So that problems can be burnt.





Our topic was 'climatic change'

and incidentally we won the first place!!
